We make quilts, afghans, shirts, dresses, hats, pillowcases, and dolls to be distributed by The Children's Cabinet of Northern Nevada to needy children in our area and outlying areas.
We are a group of volunteers dedicated to make the world a better place one quilt/blanket at a time.
We would love to have more volunteers, but if you are not able to come on Tuesdays, you can drop off your quilts, or donations any time at the Children's Cabinet on Longley Lane. You can also donate fabric, yarn, batting and thread. Monetary donations are always welcome. Checks can be made out to The Children Cabinet, for the Children's Cabinet Stitchers. To see what type of items we can use see our Wish List.

Please see our Calender for meeting dates.
To the members of the Children's Cabinet Stitchers:
We will try to have an extra work day one Thursday a month. (If we have nothing else going on) More info on this at the meetings.
So...bring your sewing machine and tools to work on a quilt project of your own or we can start one. What we do will evolve as we go. We would like to be able to use our time sewing while we visit with each other. We'll buy an ironing board, got an iron. Bring your own cutting tools, we have two mats.
We plan on being there as early as 9:00am and we can stay until 2:00pm. If you want to stay the whole time, bring a lunch...Looking forward to sharing time, techniques and a few laughs.
Help spread the word.
